Weekly Ministries
-
Every Sunday we spend time praying, praising, studying Scripture, and experiencing God together
-
Our teachers take us through studies mining the breadth and depths of God’s Word! We explore how it applies to our continued growth in obedience and maturity in Christ. This is how we do Sunday School at BT!
-
We take time Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights to meet in the sanctuary and devote ourselves to prayer. Part of this time is spent in individual prayer and part is corporate prayer.
-
We understand that our Christian faith and walk with Christ is not simply a mental exercise or an individual pursuit. Christ established His Church as a community of believers. The Early Church regularly broke bread together and lived their lives together. This weekly meal is a wonderful time for further connecting with and encouraging each other as we continue growing together as siblings in God’s family.

This interactive weekly study journeys through the Bible, one book at a time. We study Scripture considering its historical context, reflecting on its timeless truths, and attending to what God is speaking to us today for learning about and applying in our lives.
-
Our local, state, and national communities need revival! It’s the Holy Spirit who brings revival, and we partner with Him as we come together every 2nd and 4th Friday and Sunday afternoon to pray especially for this .
You may notice a few emphases with how we do church…
Scripture Study
Bible study is a foundational part of being a modern-day disciple of Jesus. Sunday mornings, School of the Bible (Sunday school) enriches and deepens our understanding of the essentials of our faith as we grow in walking with Jesus. Sunday’s sermon during worship also enrichens our knowledge of God’s call on each of us as we apply the Bible to our lives. Wednesday night’s Bible study journeys through the Bible book-by-book, exploring and reflecting on each book’s message and applications to its original audiences and to us today.
Prayer
Praying together was a hallmark of the Early Church that we prioritize! We have special times devoted to prayer on Sunday mornings (7:45-8:30) and Wednesdays (5-6). Every 2nd/4th Friday (2-3) we pray for revival in our churches, community, state, and nation.
Life Together
We like each other! It’s good to do life together and community is an essential part of growing with Christ. God created us for relationship with Him andeach other! We have potlucks, parties (like holidays or the Army-Navy game), and meet-ups after church or during the week. We especially are intentional with sharing a meal together Wednesday nights.
